When the middle set spins round, sprint up along it as fast as you can, and you'll come up the other side. Stand as far right and forward as possible on the current set of static steps. The middle part is missing and in fact part of the spinning mechanism (in fact the chest you just opened is on the bottom of this section of stairs). Turn around to face up the stairs, and you'll soon see there are three separate parts of the staircase that takes you up to the top of the trial. Once you've got that, make your way back round and up onto the turning platform as you did before, but this time, walk away from the cog as the platform turns upwards, getting as high as you can.īefore it's fully vertical, jump off and parachute down and round to the left, to a static platform with stairs a lamp on it, and catch your bearings. It's awkward, and there's no real knack to it, but keep trying until the timing is right - this is the only way to get to it. To get the internal chest, you need to wait for the platform with it on to pass under the cog, then jump off and parachute onto it. The Trial of Passage is an awkward one, especially if you want to get both of the two available chests as well as completing it. Kam Urog and Trial of Passage trial solution This, in turn, completes the Curse Statue side quest - you can get the quest itself from a man called Doctor Calip, in a house in Fort Hateno.
In order to make the shrine itself appear, you need to wait until 9pm, then hit the statue near the back of the field with glowing purple eyes with an arrow. To get there, jump off Hateno Tower and paraglide as far north as you can.Ĭross the gap between two large natural platforms then head north east until you find a sunken level with small statues in. The Kam Urog shrine is located within the Hateno region, specifically North and slightly to the west of Hateno Tower, hidden in a field of small statues in a low level below the cliffs around it.
